Hi,

We got a question from customer about TPS563210A.
Could you help us?

There is Start-up waveform in datasheet figure 43. In this condition, how much is Css value?
According to Figure 32, we are thinking Css is 8,200pF. So they calculated tss by equation (1). The result is 900usec.
They think the waveform does not much the calculated value.

    Hi Tateo-san,

    The right way to measure the soft start time is from 10% to 90% on Vout waveform. 

    When Vout is close to its target value, internal reference will switch from Vss to reference voltage, so Vout and Vfb will not increase with the original slope.

    So if we measure ss time from 0 to 100% Vout, the value will be larger than expected. Thanks.
