Hi Team:

Do we have any solution can support below requirement?

1. Isolated.

2. Input is -36V to -76V.

3. Output is 28V

4. Output current is 3A.(Max)

5. Efficiency is higher than 85%.

6. Ripple is below 1.5%.

I use webech to simulate but the part is UCC38XX family and the efficiency is only around 77%.

Do we have any TI design can refer to? Thanks a lot.

Hi Derek,

Here is a reference design (www.ti.com/.../pmp9127) I found that is close to your spec. You might want to flip the polarity through the transformer.

Derek,

The PMP9127 does have only one power transformer which has primary, secondary and auxiliary bias winding (to provide the bias supply for UCC2897A). The other one T2 is the current sense transformer.

Unfortunately there is no step-by-step design guides for this reference design published on ti.com, I would recommend reaching out to the designer, Brian King.
