TLC5941: About Icc

Part Number: TLC5941

Hi,

I am doing motion verification.
If VCC (= 3.3 V) is turned on in the following condition, Icc of TLC 5941 may continue to flow near 80 mA.
I think that the current consumption is high, but what kind of cause can be considered?

(conditions)
R (IREF) = 866 Ω
SCLK, SIN, MODE = Low fixed
BLANK = Active (3.66 kHz)
GSCLK = Active (15 MHz)
VLED (8 V), all channel

Also, in the case of R (IREF) = 866 Ω in normal operation, how much is Icc(max)?

Best Regards,

  • Actually when there is a quick clock applied to the device, the device will sink big supply current because the internal logic circuit needs larger current to work. For the condition you list, ICC will be smaller than 30/60mA definitely. Do you have any requirements on this ICC value?
