TPS65094: I2C timing requirement

Hi,

We see below spec from Intel regarding I2C timing.  tHD:STA is defined as 0.26us minimym,  Now customer found this timing is 0.23us on their board.  Will that be an concern to TPS65094x?  I didn't see such timing requirement in TPS65094x datasheet.  Thanks!

    The TPS65094x should support high speed mode which has a thd:sta of 0.16 us so 0.23 us should be fine. (Note: This has not been validated on this particular silicon)

    Hi Gordon,

    Thanks for your comments.  Do you mean the 160ns from i2C spec as below?

    This table is defined for HS-mode, and I see another table for Fast mode plus with this parameter defined as 0.26uS.  Now customer's application is around 1MHz which can be covered by Fast mode plus.  For such speed, should we refer to 160ns (for High speed mode upto 1.7/3.4MHz) spec or 0.26us (for Fast mode plus upto 1MHz) spec?
