BQ34110: Can BQ34110 with bq24773 charger IC

I'm designing a product that will have a built in battery and charge circuit. I'm using bq24773 to charge 4x LifeFePO4 cells in series and would like to add a fuel gauge to the design. Can the BQ34110 be used with a charger IC? or is there a better method of assessing battery charge level?

The bq34110 does not support broadcast mode to send the ChargingCurrent and ChargingVoltage to a smart charger. It does provide these parameters as I2C commands that a host can read. The host may be able to use this data to control the smart charger. The gauge does monitor voltage as the pack is charging and can set a flag after charge termination has been achieved.

Thanks Thomas, I have a host processor within the unit, I can use that to control the BQ24773 and read the BQ34110 registers.
