Dear TI Support Team,
in the datasheet (SNVS433D –OCTOBER 2007–REVISED APRIL 2013) of LM2755 the electrical characteristics section specifies a parameter called tSTART, which is the typical start-up time and the value of it is 300 us.
Could someone clarify what is the exact meaning of this start-up time? I have the following assumptions:
A) On applying power supply to the LM2755 it takes 300 us typical for the part to be able to receive I2C commands over the I2C bus.
B) On a powered-up device, setting HWEN to high level needs 300 us to enable the I2C bus so that the host controller can send commands.
C) On a fully powered and enabled LM2755 device it takes 300 us for the LED driver to turn on its output channels and actually drive the LEDs connected to it.
Thank you in advance for your kind response.
Best regards,
Tamas
