LP8860-Q1: Adjustoment Max LED current

Hi,

My customer consider that they adjust the maximum LED current if the brightness of LDC is dispersed.

Is there any way to adjust the maximum LED current except for setting DRV_LED_CURRENT_SCALE?

    I'm going to move this thread from the automotive forum into the LED forum. This device is supported by the LED team and they should be able to answer it better from the LED forum.

    You can change Riset value connected to Iset pin.

    Simplified equation except for register portion is like this. Iled = 3000*Vbg/Riset as shown in datasheet. Vbg = 1.2V

    But the output current of LED driver is still limited to max current of the device(not a set value by EEPROM register).
