LMR16030: LMR16030 audible noise issue

Hi TI experts,

I have a thermostat project which leverages LMR16030 to provide outuput rated at 12V@2A. The input to LMR16030 is coming from AC line which is bridge rectified before feeding to the device. The issue I am observing is that audiable noise is generated while the device is output 12V@2A and or low load condition. Is there any recommendation on how to improve the audiable noise problem.? Have you check the output voltage on the LMR16030 whether it oscillates?

Hi Arief,
There is a small oscillation at output voltage which it is at around +-300mV.

In that case, maybe you want compare your design with the webench value because it seems that you might have an oscillation issue

Hi Arief,
The design and component values used in the design were generated by using Webench. So I am not sure where I went wrong.

Do you have scope capture at the output voltage? also what is the frequncy of the oscillation at the output?
