In one of the forum I had read that TI dont have any plan to make Bq34z100-g1 as automotive qualified.

Has anyone used it in automotive application anyways? What are suggestions/precautions in it?

The bq34z100-G1 will not be qualified to automotive Q100 standards.

We have other product development underway that may be able to apply here. What are your requirements for an auto qualified device?

Hi Terry,
We are making a complete battery management system with Over/Under Voltage protection & gauging. So used bq34z100-g1 for gauging.
End BMS to be used in automotive application.
