Hi Sir,

Current we simulate BQ24297, application tablet platform Cherry Trail, Need you help tech support shipping mode.
May I know shipping mode relate OS (Android or Linux)? Need extra driver for OS and how to do it? thanks.

    The shipping mode is not related to OS.
    Ship mode is used to place the device in a low power state before leaving the assembly line. Typically, it is not used an as on/off button for the system during regular operation. Once ship mode is enabled, the internal BATFET between BAT and SYS is turned off preventing charge and discharge of the battery. If you need to place the device in a low power state during operation, your host can place the device in HIZ via I2C. Please refer to the d/s p17 9.3.1.2.2 Shipping Mode for more details.
