BQ34Z100-G1: Learned status and Update status contradiction

I set IT enable and ran a charge cycle. 

I'm getting ready to discharge and decided to check the learned status and update status. Update Status is at 0x04 (Impedance Track is enabled but Qmax and Ra data are not yet learned.) and learned status is at 0x31 = 110001 Bit 2 :

0 = IT is disabled.
1 = IT is enabled.

These two seem to contradict each other. Do I have a problem?

    The Ra table only updates during a discharge and only after Qmax has updated. Qmax can update after charge or discharge for Lithium based cells, but a good DOD point has to be set before the charge or discharge and the 90% change in DOD requirement has to be met. This is difficult to meet during the rest period after charge. Allow the OCVTAKEN flag to set and then discharge the pack. Be sure to collect log data.
