Hi Sir,

Currently my battery pack topology is 1S4P, as I know TI have impedance track tech solution to improve battery Qmax issue.

I survey BQ27621-G1 design in my system but have some question need you help and comment this case.

1. BQ27621-G1 is Impedance Track tech?

2. 1S4P battery should be equivalent 1 pack battery so I can no concern impedance for each battery, right?

    Hi and thank you for considering TI parts in your design, bq27621-G1 does not use Impedance Track Technology (IT) for battery gauging, it uses Dynamic Voltage Correlation (DVC) technology, for gas gauges that use (IT) technology please check the link below. Since your battery pack is 1S4P, make sure to choose a gauge capable of supporting your battery pack max. capacity which is ( 4 X single cell capacity), also you can refer to (Tool&Software) tab on any (IT) gauge you choose for a reference design and application that might be incorporated in your own design.
