Team,
I'd like to introduce a way to use TPS4H160 as one 8A PowerSW by parallel-connecting OUT1+2+3+4.
Can we achieve such a configuration ?
よろしくお願いします。
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Kenji,
I have contacted the appropriate engineer and they will get back to you soon.
Thanks,

Hello, Kenji,
Yes. You can. Parallel is allowed.
My concern is 8A is too big, 6A could be a reasonable value.
Thanks,
Alex,
Thanks for the reply.
The customer’s system needs less than 6A, so it should be OK.
And I have one more question.
How much capacitance value can TPS4H160 drive ?
Generally PowerSW (HotSwap/eFuse) must consider SOA of the internal FET.
So most of eFuses' DSs should have the graph, however I cannot find any similar information in TPS4H160 DS.
Could you give your advice ?
よろしくお願いいたします。

Hello, Kenji-san,
We don't have the similar SOA curve for Smart Power Switch, but charging cap is validated on bench test with 4X470uF.
You can contact me through alex.wang@ti.com for test waveforms.
Thanks,
Alex,
