BQ34Z100-G1: Battery HHR-380A ChemID problem at low temperature

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1

Hello!

We have a problem with the correct SOC calculations at low temperature. Actually, the parametres RM and FCC drops directly, when temperature sets -19,5 degrees Celcius. How I understand, we need to update the ChemID file. How can I do this or what kind of log file i need to make for this?

  • Alex,
The capacity adjustments are a result of capacity simulations from either changes in the temperature or an update time. Most of the ChemIDs were characterized down to 0 degac, so you will need to run an Rb tweak to update the Rb table in the data flash to compensate for the lower temperatures. We have an online tool to help with this.
