Could you provide make sure hold on system(avoid into crash )when POE & Adapter priority change?

    Hi Nowal,

    Smooth transition between PoE and adapter is very difficult to do. When the converter switches between adapter voltage to PoE voltage, the inrush might cause the PD to go into inrush current limit where the input voltage of the converter might drop enough for the converter to shutdown for a short while.

    Closest solution is TPS23756 circuit shown on Figure 33 (right side) in the TPS23756 datasheet. This for using adapter voltages very close to the PSE's expected voltage. You can test this kind of circuit on the TPS23756EVM.
