I notice that the datasheet for the TPS72301 shows, under "Typical Application", that the sum of the feedback resistor values should be about 100k. This is not mentioned anywhere else in the datasheet that I can see. My question is whether this is a requirement for proper operation of the regulator (e.g. for stability, transient response, etc.) In my application it is more convenient to use much lower resistor values, with a total resistance of 1.5k. Is there any problem with doing that?
