BQ27742-G1: can't go to rom mode

Hi !

I'm able to flash GoldenFile to empty Fuelgauge device.

But I can't reflash the same file second time. Fuelgauge in not respond from ROM mode any more

Looks like authenticate keys is a right .

What can be problem ?

Did you verify that the gauge is indeed unsealed? Please make sure that it really is unsealed.

I think it is unsealed because it is easy to accept any keys in unsealing sequence without visible error.

But we use default keys and those keys are not changed in Golden file what is cooked to us by TI.

Or what can be other keys and authentication sequences instead of default ones ?

Does the gauge never respond, even after a power cycle? The gauge should not stop being able to go into ROM mode.

I programmed 5 virgin devices and every I2C transaction is returned OK.
FuelGauge works fine and battery characteristics look OK.

But it can be done once and any power cycling dosn't help.
Once programmed device newer go to ROM mode.

When I practice by myself and just select sutible battery and export file I was able to reflash this file several times
by using the same embedded to firmware code.

But we have got real golden file from TI and it sealed device forever.
