TPS54160: TPS54160 / Enable threshold

Hi,

My customer is evaluating TPS54160 and then found some samples that has higher enable threshold. I actually evaluated the sample on my bench and confirmed customer's finding as attached. If EN variability is an issue for you, please consider TPS54160A. TPS54160A has tightened specification for EN.

Hi John,

I'm not talking about the EN variability. It looks like the EN threshold I evaluated is out of spec, 1.55V(max). Is it possible case at TPS54160?

I'm not really sure you can say for sure that it is out of spec at that scope resolution. There is quite a bit of variability in the EN current as well as EN voltage threshold. The spec is from a controlled environment on the ATE. It is certainly at the high side of the spec. If you have doubts about it, you could submit that part for FA.
