Hi Team,
My customer is asking if they can use our LM5050-1 to driver the two back-to-back MOSFET like below? Because customer is planning to use it or not, so Can you help check, thanks a lot.

Hi Team,
Any one can help check this asap, thanks a lot!

Hi Sulyn,
The LM5050 unfortunately, cannot be used with back-back FETs. The reason is because:
1. There is an internal zener diode clamp from IN to GATE. So charge will make its way to the GATE and keep the MOSFETs on.
2. The LM5050 pulls GATE to IN rather than to ground.
If you need back-back FETs and some of these features, perhaps this two-chip solution, tested TI Design would be of interest: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00233
