I am measuring the voltage across my +48V regulator during a transient response. I have measured the voltage peak and drop for 1 to 4 PoE loads connected to the system and have gotten the same values.
My question is the following: Does the TPS2384 PSE have a protection circuit to ensure that the loads are connected one after the other instead of simultaneously?
However, I've tried measuring the transient response with a time scale of 1 second and 5 seconds, and I can only see one transient response. Why is the voltage transient response independant of the amount of PoE loads connected?
