My customer considers to use "Adaptive Boost Voltage Control".
How to calculate specific boost output voltage [V] from VBOOST[5:0] of CFG6 register?

Hi,

It's on page 14 of LP8556 datasheet.

Vboost = Vboost_min + 0.42*VBOOST(Dec), where Vboost_min can be decided by VBOOST_RANGE either 7V or 16V.

I totally thought the following calculating formula is for "Manual Control" only.
*Vboost = Vboost_min + 0.42*VBOOST(Dec),

I understood it is applicable for "Adaptive Control".

yes, the equation is just for initial voltage setting, and adaptive boost will automatically adjust boost voltage according to LED load.
