BQ76930EVM: Is it possible to run this EVM with 4Cells?

I would like to run this EVM with 4 cells only is this possible? I understand that there is a 3-5 cell EVM, however, I want to be able to run at 4 and at 6 cells.

    Hi Mohamed,
    The minimum recommended cells per group is 3 as shown in section 4, section 5 and section 8.1 of the data sheet. The minimum recommended VBAT operating voltage for each group is 6 V. It would not be possible to achieve a normal UV level while meeting the operating voltage level. We do not recommend trying to operate the bq76930 at 4 cells.

    Would be it be possible even if I supplied BAT voltage from a difference source?

    Hi Mohamed,
    VC5X is also a power pin and must be in a suitable range for measurement. You could try 3 cells on the bottom group and the bottom cell on the upper group with a higher BAT voltage and see if it will do what you want. Don't exceed abs max limits. You may need to simulate additional cell voltages on the upper group for proper operation. We have not tested this configuration and do not recommend it.
