BQ24171: to verify a battery management circuit including cahrger IC and gauge

dear All,

i am designing a battery management circuit including charger and gauge ICs; bq24171 + bq28z610.

i plan to charge a 1-Cell Li-Ion battery.

also i need to send the SOC of the battery through I2C to a MCU.

i have some questions:

1- is my selected ICs true? ie bq24171 + bq28z610?

2- where should to be connected the RT 103AT on the battery? on the negative?
