Hi,
I'm currently developing FW to control a LED matrix (16 lines and 64 columns).
The HW that i'am using uses 2 boards based on the tidr687 and each board implements 2 TLC drivers.
If i use each board individually (16 lines and 32 columns) everything works just fine. The problem arise when i plug both boards to fulfill my necessities.
The problem is strictly related to the fact that i cannot configure the 2 drivers (neither FC1 or FC2) at the second board although reading and writing GS data are correctly done on all the 4 drivers. The first 2 drivers, presented on the first board, are well configured which is confirmed by reading their FC's registers values. However, the 2 drivers at the second board still have their default values which make me believe the only problem i'am facing is related to the write configuration of the 2 last drivers (NOTE: these statements are made after observed every lines on both boards and after getting certain the correct operation of the LAT signal for FCWRTEN and WRTFC).
However, and after some time spent, i discover that my problem is in fact related to the length of the communications cable connecting the boards. Every time the cable have more than 15 cm. the configurations problem mention above arises. By observing every line i cannot find any difference regardless of the cable size.
Any tips for my problem?
