UCD90120A: Fusion Digital Power Designer 2.0.179 Desequencing

Part Number: UCD90120A

Using Fusion Digital Power Designer v2.0.179, I am having an issue with Rail Sequence Off Dependencies. I have set up a simple test project with four rails that should sequence on in order and sequence off in the opposite order. The turn on sequence is displayed as expected. However, the off sequence does not appear to be following the dependencies as expected. The fist rail comes down as expected, followed by the second rail when the Power Good Off threshold of the first rail is met, however the remaining rails appear to be desequencing before the Rail Sequence Off Dependencies have been met. Am I configuring the tool incorrectly or is it a bug in the display?

It seems a similar display issue was present in the tool in 2013: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/svs_and_sequencers/f/212/t/273527

  • Hi
What you configured is correct. The display does not show the corret order for off sequencing, device still functions as what you expected.
We will address this in the future release.
