Requirement of Power Management IC

Hello,

I require a Power Management IC which can switch between my two inputs (main power input 5V and Primary backup battery 3.6V).

When the main power supply is present then the output of the Power Management IC should be from main power and when main power supply is absent then the battery backup should operate.

Please suggest suitable part which suffice the requirement.

Hi NIBIN,

Thank you for coming to TI with your power management needs. Could you provide more details? What function should the PMIC perform? Buck, boost, controller, LDO, a load switch, etc.

For example, is this for a hot-swap application, USB, etc.?

The source selection could be done with something as simple as a diode going from , or as complex as a battery management product.

Please provide more detail of your needs so we can locate this thread in the best fitting location within e2e and provide you with a suggestion for your needs.
