Dear Sir,
I am using BQ24172 as our battery charger. The Adapter source is 30W MAX.
Currently, we are charging the battery while the system is working with 17Watt load.
our battery charger specification : Ichmax=2.6A for 2S2P battery. (Battery Pmax= 4.2V*2.6A= 21.8W)
We monitor the Ich current just only 840mA which is around 7Watt.
For adapter Max 30W limit, it still have 13 watt , why Ich be limited?
In addition, once I turn off the system load (17watt), the Ich becomes 2.5A.
is this limited by IDPM? Thanks.
