TPS65142: TFT - LCD power spec

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask TPS65142 and TPS65150?

Our customer are looking for Multiple-Output Regulator which meets the following specifications;

<TFT - LCD power spec>
Vin : 3.3V
AVDD : 9.6V/14.2mA
VCOM : 3.9V(*)
VGH : 18.0V(*)
VGL : -6.0V(*)
* About these current value, now we are confirming.

So, TPS65142 and TPS65150 are suitable for above specifications?
(We guess that TPS65142 and TPS65150 are suitable above specification.)
Could you give us the your recommendation?

And then, is TPS65154 suiable compared with TPS65142 and TPS65150 also?

Hello Hirotaka-san,

Can you tell us more about the target application? Would the customer need more function than just the bias like the backlight driver in TPS65142?

For the spec you gave I would recommend to go with the TPS65150 if backlight driver is not necessary and generate the VCOM voltage from AVDD with a resistor divider or with a PWM-DAC if you have free GPIO on your board (see SLVA763 www.ti.com/.../slva763 for more details).
TPS65154 would be my recommendation if WLED driver is needed, it has programmable VCOM as well compared to TPS65142.

We think that backlight driver is not necessary, so TPS65150 is suitable for our customer's specification.
Just in case, we would like to send you our customer's specification, so is it possible to send the data directly?(or private message on E2E)
