TLV702: /EN pin current

Hi Kurt,

To avoid potential confusion let us clear up the pin nomenclature upfront. "/EN" is a way to write "not enable" which would mean that the output of TLV702 is enabled when "/EN" is tied to GND. TLV702 has an EN pin which is the opposite logic. When EN is connected to a voltage above 0.9V, the output is enabled.

EN is a digital input to TLV702. The output voltage does not vary with the voltage placed on EN.

Most of the time when an LDO does not reach its set output it is due to either dropout or an unintentional bias path on the output. The bias path can come from the load (particularly if the load has multiple voltage rail inputs) or even a path through flux that was not properly cleaned after soldering. In order to help debug, could you provide a scope shot with Vin, Vout, EN, and Iout?

yes - sorry, I meant EN not /EN.
The Vin line has a clean 3.80V signal from a battery. The Vout is a clean 1.32V.
EN line shows this strange wave; which disappears if I change the EN pull up resistor from 10K to 100 ohms.

the Vin is stable at 3.80V
Vout stable at 1.32V
If I change EN pull up to 100ohm instead of 10k ohm, the EN wave disappears and Vout is a proper 3.3V
