BQ78350-R1: LED Pin

Hi, I am having questions about the LED pins on BQ78350-R1 IC.

The first question is if the LED pins are open drain or cmos? Then if the pins are not used, what should I do? Do I leave them there or I need to ground them? If I need to ground them, do I need to add resistor to each LED pin?

The LED outputs are open drain and should be connected to Vss, if unused.

hello, thank you for replying. May I ask for theories or reasonsomething behind ur suggestion?

Also, one of our school lab technicians suggests to ground the unused LED pins with connecting an 100k ohm resistor to each LED pin. Would that also be anice appropriate way? Thank u.

You can leave the outputs open, connect to VSS or use a pull-down to VSS. We recommend connecting the outputs to VSS either directly or with a pull-down to help with ESD and EMI robustness. Open pins provide ports for susceptibilty.
