Hi all,
We need support to choose step-down switching regulators.
Our idea is to have 2 product ranges, a medium range with an output current (Io) from 1.5A to 2A, and a high range from 3A to 5A.
The output voltage (Vo) would be 5V (we have no preferences about fixed or adjustable regulators) and the input voltage (Vin) around 36V cause our equipments work at 24V, and the 28V that some regulators offer seems
scarce to us.
Footprint must be SOIC 8 or SO Power-PAD. And we will use them for industrial applications, nor military nor automotive.
We have observed there are some families that have differents topologies. For example the TPS54233 family or the TPS5450, everyone with their own pinout and layout.
Our question is, are there more families apart from these that meet the requirements?
