BQ27421-G1: Measure the SOC of removable battery

Can BQ27421-G1A correctly measure the SOC of removable battery if it is charged in an external charger?
For example,
you turn off the device,
pull out the battery (disconnect it from BQ27421),
insert another battery with identical chemistry and capacity.
How accurate fuel gauge could measure battery SOC in this case?

    Hi Vladimir, 

    The device should be able to give the state of charge as it is dependent on the battery's current draw, voltage, and temperature. So as soon as you remove the old battery and add a new one with the same CHEMID, the device should be able to provide the state of charge.
