Hi,

I am using Bq28z610 in one of our application, for testing, I am connecting my board with BQ studio even after doing the FET EN my battery is not getting charged or discharged. Actually battery is always disconnected from the system.

Hi Abhishek,

bqStudio connects and communicates with your PCB, right? Are you using a custom PCB or TI bq28z610EVM? If it's your custom PCB can you provide the schematic for us to review?

Hi Abhishek,

I reviewed you schematic and it looks fine. I would recommend leaving the BH2 pin 1 floating, instead of grounding it. It's much safer if a cell is installed by mistake.

Can you send snaphots of bqStudio front panel for us to see why you can't charge or discharge? Did you configure the data flash for 1S in DA Configurations register?
