Hi Team,

Our customer would like to drive "VCSEL(around 450mA)" by LED driver.

We suggested ONET1191V but they need only a function to be able to make VCSEL shine.

Therefore, they would like to know whether LM3414 can driver “VCSEL”.

Could you please let us know if you have any information and any recommended device(LED Driver).

Hello Kanemaru,

It would be interesting to see the VCSEL datasheet since I am not very familiar with them. But I suspect they are like any other laser or LED in that they simply need a current source. If that is the case then the LM3414 could drive it just fine.
