Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS43060,
Customer is having issues with a TPS43061 getting damaged during 50C high temp testing. One thing we noticed is the TPS43060 (which has an external boot diode) requires a 2 ohm resistor between Vcc and Boot whereas the TPS43061 (which has an internal diode) does not. Is there current limiting on the Boot circuit internal to the TPS43061 which make this not required? How robust is this internal diode?
