TPS2421-2: TPS2421-2 Iset range

Hello Sirs,

TPS2421 spec recommend Rset is 49.9K ~200K ohm

Is there problem when Rset under 49.9K ?　 ex: 47K ohm

    Hi Terry,

    With Rset =49.9kohm, you should be able to allow 3.4A load current.
    Decreasing Rset further increases current limit value. This is not recommended because due to current limit tolerances some devices may operate beyond the device current ratings.
    However, Rset of 47kohm would not be a problem at lower operating temperature 40℃. Since, datasheet does not have tested data at this operating condition, I suggest you to do functional verification on your system
