BQ24090: Dual Cell Li-Ion Battery Charger? Can devices such as bq2409x be used in parallel?

2 cells in parallel, the voltage is equal to 1 cell. it is not necessary to use 2 charger, 1 BQ2409* could charge them.

great. but what if i wanted to use two different management ics, if the batteries werent jointed together in a battery pack. and so might not be at the same charge state?

2 different management ics means? 2 similar battery from the same battery company, you could charge them in parallel, and don't need worry about it.
