We are inquiring about the function of Exposed Thermal Die.

Is it possible to operate the CHIP by opening the Ex Thermal Die PIN without connecting it to the VGL PIN?

Hello Dennis,

For thermal reasons, the thermal pad should be connected to a metal plane that is either connected to VGL or left floating; it is not allowed to connect it to a different voltage.
