BQ2000T: Batteries not getting charged

Hi,

                I am using BQ2000T battery charging IC for charging 4 NiMh batteries connected in series.

I have assembled the circuit as per reference application circuit given in datasheet.

I am facing some issues:

1. The charge LED turns ON during power cycle and remains ON just for 2-3min.

It turns OFF automatically after that.

2. Batteries are not getting charged.
