I understand that the bq24610 reduces the battery charging current to accommodate the load current also within the set adapter current limit.
As I keep on increasing the load, the charging current keeps decreasing until zero (such a way that I_adapter is tightly held at its limit). On further increasing the load current, I find that the adapter current limit is getting released and it is able to supply the required load current. If this is the case, then I am not getting the whole point of why the limit is imposed in the early stages ??
