I'm looking for a (stand-alone with serial I/F) gas gauge / coulomb counter that is compatible with a 10-cell (12V, 6000mAh) NiMH pack. My searches on TI.com have returned ICs specifically compatible with Li+ and Li-Poly packs or lower voltage NiMH packs. Can anyone advise if these ICs can be easily adapted to function with higher voltage packs? Or have I over-looked an off-the-shelf IC suited for the task?
