I have developed battery management board using bq76pl455A-Q1 IC for passive cell balancing. I want rest that board using the software provided by TI bq76PL455_GUI. I have usb to TTL converter . How i can test the BMS board using usb to TTL converter using bq76PL455_GUI .

Hello Indrajit,

We use an FTDI cable (this one, i believe:http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/ftdi-future-technology-devices-international-ltd/TTL-232R-5V/768-1028-ND/2003493 ) to communicate to the lowest device in the bq76PL455A stack. Also be sure to make sure that the voltages you are using translate a "high" between VIO and VIO-0.7, or you may not communicate correctly.
