TPS59116 is defined PWM dimming frequency as 90Hz to 22KHz.in data sheet.

Is it OK PWM dimming frequency =60Hz ?

System configuration is 10S, 6CH, LED current/Ch = 170mA

Oh My typo !

Device is TPS61196
*Is it OK to use PWM dimming frequency =60Hz ?
*Customer want to set soft start about 30mS to 50mS.
How much capacitacne shoud be connected ?
Condition is VIN =12V,10S, 6CH, LED current/Ch = 170mA.

Hi Kanao,

For TPS61196, the PWM frequency range of 90 Hz to 22 kHz is guaranteed as per the datasheet.

I've checked lower PWM freq for another customer. It did work on a sample EVM on the bench, however we don't guarantee the performance as it is beyond datasheet spec.
