I have given a square wave input of frequency 10KHz and amplitude 10Vpp... but output always shows low ?
Enable pin is left floating (pull up configuration).... VDD= 10V...

Sree,
Thank you for your interest in the UCC27524 driver. I am one of the applications engineers for this product and will work with you to resolve this unexpected behavior. My understanding of the conditions is summarized below:
VDD: 10V
ENA, ENB: OPEN (internally pulled up to 10V via 200kohm)
INA, INB: 10kHz, 0-10V switching
OUTA, OUTB: LOW
GND
The input conditions above should not be an issue for the device. I have a few questions -- some of them may seem quiet basic, but they will help rule out common issues:
1. Does the output actively pull down to GND, or is it in a Hi-Z state? This can be checked by adding a pull-up from OUTx to VDD. If OUTx is at 0V, then the output driver stage is actively pulling the node down to GND.
2. Have you confirmed the input waveform at the UCC27524 pins? This is to verify that the signal is reaching from the source to the INA/INB pins.
3. What happens at OUTx when you apply 10V DC at the corresponding INx pin?
4. What is the ;pad at the OUTx pins?
5. Have you tried swapping out the part? Perhaps it has been damaged or otherwise made non-functional.
Please provide oscilloscope captures and schematic to help me get a better understanding of the application and conditions.
Regards,
- Daniel
