BQ27542-G1: The Accuracy of temperature (0x06 0x07) and int-temperature (0x28 0x29)

Part Number: BQ27542-G1

Hi Team,

   My Customer asked the follows:

DataSheets shows int-temperature -2.0mV/degCtyp.(it looks diode Vf characteristics)
Have you any idea about how the accuracy of temp after calibration.
Does int-temp Command Code 0x28 & 0x29 means that 0000 to FFFF shows the range of
0 x 0.1degK to 65535 x 0.1degK?

   Same question for temperature 0x06 & 0x07.
How is the accuracy after thermistor-parameter setting?

Pls advice me

  • Yes, the internal temperature units are 0.1 Kelvin so 0 means 0 Kelvin and 0xFFFF means 6553.5 Kelvin (theoretically - not possible in a real application).

The accuracy is a function of thermistor accuracy, thermistor model parameter accuracy and ADC accuracy. It's typically +/-1K for a well matched thermistor.
