TPS62560: TPS62560 on bottom, inductor on top ok?

Are there any drawbacks to placing the TPS62560 on the bottom of the board and the associated inductor on the top?

A power supply as simple as this should be able to be routed on 1 side of the board. This minimizes noise/EMI.

As well, this is an older device. The TPS62230 family is much smaller, while the TLV62080 uses a smaller inductor. The TLV62568 offers lower cost.

hello Chris,

Thanks for the reply. In our case the board is extremely small (10 mm x 91 mm),... in the end the CAD engineer was able to move
the inductor to the top. Regarding the TPS62560,... are there any EOL concerns? We're planning to beginning routing this week
so I'm very reluctant to change parts at this point and blow our schedule.

No, this one is not on an 'EOL list' or anything.
