TPS53626: Phase Margin and Gain Margin

Dear Sir 

We meet PWM jitter fail issue of TPS53626 

1. Could you provide phase margin and gain margin calculator excel tool of TPS53626 ?

2. We had already use TI excel calculator to modify DCR sense circuit ,but seems like the jitter not improve 

Below is the compensation value in our circuit ,could you kindly help to suggest how to improve the jitter ??

    I'm looking into the availability of the compensation tool for the TPS53626. If I can find one I will pass it along to you.

    In the meantime, I would suggest working through Step 10 of the Application Section of the datasheet (page 37) to design the control loop for your application. Without knowing the specifics of your design the value of PC93 seems to be too small. Usually that capacitor value is approximately a factor of 10 larger so I recommend running through Step 10 of the datasheet design guide to confirm this value.

    You could also investigate making the internal ramp value larger by adjusting the resistor called out in Step 13 of the Application Section of the datasheet on page 42.

  • Hi Kai,

    I unfortunately was unable to find a compensation spreadsheet for the TPS53626. The design sheet is for the DCR loop. 

    Were you able to have any luck working through Step 10 of the datasheet or adjusting the ramp voltage?
