Required a battery management *** DC-DC converter module, which can use external supply to power up using adapter with 19VDC input and if adapter is absent, it can use battery being able to deliver 2.5A to 3A @ 4.2VDC.
Previously using BQ24072 for GPS tracking applications, but now have requirement of 2-Cell Li-ion powered systems.
Competitor part number is MAX1873R from Maxim Integrated.
As per my info BQ24133, BQ40Z50-R1 and BQ40Z60 are apt for above.
Kindly suggest here specific part from TI in competition of Maxim Integrated.
