LM4121: ADJ - Output

Hi,

The datasheet of LM4121 has a formula that I can't figure out how is used. The formula has Vref which is not defined in the specification table, although claimed differently in the datasheet itself. Above the table it is written that Vref = Vout, which does not make sense to me to be used in the formula. Am I missing anything?

And one more thing, I have TINA, but I didn't find this component in it. Is the Spice Model of it available?

Hi Vala,

The LM4121 output is set by the following equation:

When R1 = 0 and R2 = Infinity, Vout = Vref. In other words, Vout = Vref when they are tied together. Vref, as seen below from the datasheet, is defined as 1.216V.

Unfortunately we don't have a TINA model for the LM4121.

Thanks for your answer. So I should use 1.216V for Vref in that formula. Now it is clear.
