Hello.

I'm using a uC to control the BQ78350-r1 via SMBus.

I've succesfully programmed via SMBus all the parameter and settings i need except the chemistry. So far, i've programmed the chemistry through BQStudio and EV2300 only.

My question is: would it be possible to program the chemistry from my uC (as i already do for other registers)?

What are the registers related to the chemistry? Are they documented somewhere? How the extract the chem data for a given ID from the database?

The chemistry data are hidden parameters, so you can either program them with bqStudio or you can export the data flash and program it to devices in production.

Yes, I can export the srec file using BQSTudio...
...but, how can i then flash such srec into the BQ78350-R1 using my uC? What kind of write (write block or other?) should I use? The same function and structure I use to flash other parameters into data flash (except for the addresses of course).

Is there any documentation or reference code for that?

You can use the srec file to program the data flash, but the easiest method would be to export a Hex Dump file from the Data Memory screen of bqStudio. We have an applications brief to help with programming the data to the device. Search for SLUA74 from the TI website.
